ANDREW NOONE
CHAIRMAN
Andrew has worked in the European PET industry from the early days of the industry's development in a variety of strategic planning, marketing and business development roles, latterly at board level with the largest PET convertor in Europe. He has degrees in economics from the Universities of Manchester and Nottingham, UK. Andrew joined PCI in 1991 to partner the establishment of the Group's consulting activities in the field of PET / RPET market analysis.
DAVID SWIFT
MANAGING DIRECTOR
David has a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Manchester, an MSc in Toxicology from the University of Surrey and an MBA from Henley Management College, Brunel University. David joined Shell in 1977 and had a variety of assignments in different business areas including strategy and planning development for chemical businesses. David entered the PET business in 1997, with the role of market development of new technologies. David transferred to M&G Group in May 2000, with the purchase of Shell’s PET business, as Global Marketing Manager for the resins business unit. David joined PCI in March 2007.
HELEN McGEOUGH
SENIOR CONSULTANT (PET RECYCLING) AND BUSINESS MANAGER
A Business Studies graduate from Nottingham University, Helen has worked in consultancy for over 14 years, with previous experience in the IT industry. Helen joined PCI in 2004, undertaking market analysis and custom research for both virgin and recycled PET markets. Currently Helen is responsible for the ongoing analysis of the recycled PET market and providing support to all major reclaimers and end users worldwide. Helen is also responsible for the management of the company’s administration and systems.
HELEN BRAMALL
SENIOR RESEARCH ANALYST
Helen has a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of York and a Graduate Law degree from Nottingham Law School. She worked in the private and public sectors as an information analyst prior to joining PCI in 2011. Helen undertakes market analysis and single client research mainly on the virgin PET market.
SANTIAGO GARCIA
SENIOR CONSULTANT, NORTH AMERICA
Santiago was for many years with Continental PET Technologies, at the time the leading supplier of customised PET containers in North America, and was later General Manager of the operation supplying refillable PET bottles to Coca Cola in Mexico. Immediately prior to joining PCI, he was in charge of Mexico’s PET representative body APREPET, where he was particularly concerned with recycling and environmental issues. Santiago is based in Mexico City.
ANGIE LU
CONSULTANT, ASIA PACIFIC
Angie was born in Shan Xi Province China and has a bachelor’s degree in International Trade from the Henan Industry University. Immediately prior to joining PCI, Angie was in a senior sales position with the major Chinese PET producer Dragon Special Resin, where she headed up relationships with major brand owners in China. Angie now handles our work in China, from a base in Xaimen, and also reports on market developments in the rest of Asia.
MERVYN TOOGOOD
SENIOR CONSULTANT, EAST EUROPE
In business analysis with BP, prior to being appointed Managing Director of an international polymer trading company. Mervyn has had direct involvement in the development of a PET project in Europe and first hand experience of PET plant process costing and analysis. Responsibility within PCI for ongoing analysis of the European PET market with a particular emphasis on the East European market.
ALASTAIR CARMICHAEL
SENIOR CONSULTANT, USA
Alasdair has over 35 years experience in the synthetic fibres business having been based in Europe, Asia and North America during this time. He brings a comprehensive knowledge of PET fibres recycling to the group and is based in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Prior to joining PCI Group in 2000 he headed the Synthetic Filament Machinery unit of Rieter in the Americas. He heads up our research and client support on PET recycling in the USA.
JENNY HOWELL
SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE SECRETARY
Jenny has worked in office administration within both public and private sectors for more than 30 years. Jenny joined PCI in 2011 where she is responsible for preparation of reports, client support including subscriptions, invoicing and credit control as well as general administration of the offices in Derby UK.
